2024 Lexus GX
2022–2024 Lexus LX
2022–2024 Toyota Tundra

Issue:

During manufacturing, certain V35A engines may have been contaminated with machining debris. This debris can lead to premature wear and damage to internal components—especially the crankshaft main bearings—potentially resulting in an unexpected engine stall, even while driving.

Toyota has confirmed that this defect poses a serious safety risk, especially at highway speeds.

Remedy: The final repair is under development. All repairs will be provided free of charge.
